kudos is operated by Premier Ascension LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our SMS-based nutrition coaching service.
Information We Collect
When you use kudos, we collect information you voluntarily provide: your first name, health and fitness goals, basic physical stats (age, sex, height, weight), activity level, dietary restrictions, health information you choose to share (such as health conditions and lab or bloodwork results, whether typed or sent as a photo), coaching preferences, phone number, and the content of your text messages including photos you send us.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide personalized nutrition coaching through our SMS service — analyzing menu photos, providing food recommendations based on your goals, and maintaining a daily log of your meals to give contextual advice.
SMS Messaging
By texting our phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from kudos containing personalized nutrition guidance. Message frequency varies based on your usage. Besides replying to your messages, kudos may send occasional check-ins, reminders, and messages about your trial or subscription. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for assistance.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information or mobile opt-in data to any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Your data is used exclusively to power your kudos coaching experience.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is encrypted where we store it. Text messages themselves travel over your mobile carrier's network and are not end-to-end encrypted. We retain your profile and conversation history for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by texting "DELETE MY DATA" or emailing us.

The Service
kudos provides personalized nutrition guidance via SMS. You text us what you're eating or send photos of menus and nutrition labels, and receive recommendations tailored to your goals. kudos is for adults 18 and over. By texting kudos, you confirm you are at least 18.
Not Medical Advice
kudos provides nutrition and food guidance only. It is not a doctor, dietitian, or healthcare provider, and nothing it says is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You can share lab results, bloodwork, or a health condition with kudos, and it will use that information to make food recommendations based on published guidance from recognized health organizations and peer-reviewed research. It will tell you which source a recommendation is based on when you ask.
kudos does not interpret your results, tell you what they mean for your health, estimate risk or prognosis, or give any guidance about medication, supplements, dosing, or testing. Those are questions for your doctor.
Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, take medication, or have a history of disordered eating. If a value you share appears to need prompt medical attention, kudos will say so and direct you to your doctor, but kudos is not an emergency service and must never be relied on in an emergency. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.
Your Health Information
Any health information you send kudos, including lab results and photos of reports, is stored with the rest of your conversation and used only to give you food guidance. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is stored and how to delete it.
kudos is not a HIPAA-covered entity, and messages sent over SMS are not encrypted end to end. Share only what you're comfortable sending by text.

Accuracy
kudos provides estimated nutritional information. Actual nutritional content may vary. Nutrition values for common foods come from USDA FoodData Central (U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, fdc.nal.usda.gov).
